A sketch I did in Photo the other day. The effects were made on Pixlr.

Charles Zembillas is an artist and character designer. He did the character design for Spyro as well as some of the characters in the video game for Playstation. He also worked with Naughty Dog on the Crash Bandicoot series and on the original Jak and Daxter.
On the website for the animation online school he created, The Animation Academy, Zembillas put up a walk-through of the character design process for the first Jak and Daxter video game. It has about 300 of his concept drawings for the series and he walks you through the process, explaining what he was doing and thinking at the time.
This character design walk-through is the single most helpful thing on the internet I’ve found for the aspiring artist/animator/character designer. Just looking at the drawings helps a ton, but the tips that Zembillas gives along the way are also fantastic. I strongly urge you to read and learn from this.
I will look at that site later. =o
Got two more Persona 2 keychains because you know… I needed them. I got Trish and Maya(!!) They’re all so adorbs I wish I could have em all. xP Trish might charge me $800000 just to use my own bathroom though…

Might tweak this design later. Randomly thought up a character named Sirius who has DOG FUR AHHH. I’m a genius.
JC Penney’s new ad for Father’s Day
The text reads:
“First Pals: What makes Dad so cool? He’s the swim coach, tent maker, best friend, bike fixer and hug giver—all rolled into one. Or two.” The text at the bottom reads: “Real-life dads, Todd Koch and Cooper Smith with their children Claire and Mason.”
HELL TO THE MUTHAFUCKIN YES.
isn’t this the second time JCP has featured a gay couple in an ad? :-o :-)
